Regular eye examinations help evaluate your vision and monitor the health of your eyes. An eye exam can identify changes in your prescription and may also detect signs of eye conditions that can affect your vision and overall eye health.

Your eye exam begins with a discussion of your vision, medical history and any concerns you may have. We then perform appropriate tests to evaluate your vision and eye health.

Depending on your individual needs, your examination may include:

• Vision and prescription testing

• Glaucoma screening

• Visual field testing

• Evaluation of how your eyes work together

• Examination of the front and back of the eyes

• Retinal imaging when appropriate

• Dilation when recommended

Your optometrist will review the findings with you and answer any questions you may have.
